STEPS TO A SCHOOL CHOICE

Steps to a School Choice is sponsored by the Higher Education Services Corporation. The manual is a 60 page bound tabloid and is formatted in a scripto-graphic style that provides students and parents summary information with an emphasis on illustration and demonstration. Designed in a self-directed format, it can be used by the students and parents alone or presented in groups in school settings. In September 2008, 100,000 copies had been requested by almost 800 high schools throughout New York state. It was sent to the schools via FedEx. In October, Steps to a School Choice was chosen as the 2002 Outstanding Publication by the New York Counseling Association (NYCA).

It will again be offered free of charge to high schools for the graduating class of 2009. Survey correspondence to request copies will be sent by the WPCC.  For more information or to request copies, call Lou Brunelli at (914) 739-2313.  You may also order copies of Steps to a School Choice by clicking the link below, printing the order form, and faxing it to the WPCCC at (914) 734-9644.
